HOW THE TRUST CAN HELP YOU

What work is eligible for a grant or loan? - Priority is given to works of repair which are necessary for the continuing life of the building as a place of worship. While the trust will help with major works, such as re-roofing and structural repairs, it will also consider the small jobs which other bodies will not aid. In general, work should not be started before the grant or loan application has been made and a grant or loan offered. Work on older buildings should be carried out with traditional methods and materials. Work to furnishings will not usually attract aid, nor will regular maintenance, such as cleaning gutters and overhaul of organs or bells, but the Trust is keen to encourage maintenance programmes and is happy to advise on them.
